Here's another recipe from our own Diva Donna!
Get the Meat from the freezer and loaf pan out of the pantry and find some BIG PICKLES!
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup dill pickle juice
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 slice bread, torn into small pieces
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup chopped dill pickles
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions
- Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 8x8 inch baking dish.
- Beat the egg in a mixing bowl. Whisk in the onion, pickle juice, salt, and pepper. Stir in the bread until soggy, then mix in the ground beef until evenly combined. Form into a loaf and place into the prepared pan. Stir together the chopped pickles, ketchup, water, sugar, and Worcestershire sauce; pour over the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven until no longer pink in the center, about 1 hour. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
The recipe sounds tasty, I'm hungry. I'll play with the wet hunk too.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, is that first picture real? I mean wow!
It's big enough to make you question it, but it is casting a shadow on the wall. Tough call....
ReplyDeleteWell,I think it's real. The only way to tell for sure if it's a Real Dill Pickle. Is to put yout Teeth around it and Bite it, lick it and taste it. If it squirks pickle Juice and yells it's a real Dilly.
ReplyDeleteLisa!!! We have a BLT test for you.
This is a good recipe for the college crowd. So a frat man is doing the modeling for it.
Yikes! That's SOME weasel, Mama Saun.
ReplyDeleteThe Dill Pickle Meatloaf recipe sounds delish. I really want to try it.
Now as far as our young stud muffin here...I'd like to jump on his dick and take that smirk off his face...numerous times.
Other dude (reminds me of Shemar Moore of Criminal Minds) is nice eye candy but unless a man is goofing, I'd rather that he didn't pose.
Um, actually, that IS Shemar Moore! You've got a good eye, Queen Yah Yah!
ReplyDeleteWell,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Queen Yah-Yah is already onboard for this test. So,
All aboard and Talley-Ho. And enjoy the ride. He looks like he's as good as the Energizer Bunny. And Shemar Moore looks pretty dang good too.
Okay, that recipe sounds tastey! I love dill pickles and so do my kids. I bet they'd love this! Donna, have you made it? Was it good?
ReplyDeleteAs for the accompanying dessert, I'm thinking that today's way too young stud is the real deal. :)
He didn't look like meatloaf. My first though was breadstick. Love Shemar.
ReplyDeleteDonna, this recipe sounds fantastic! I must try it. Gorgeous pic of Shemar, too, and oh my God, that first pic -- I feel like such a cougar!
