Tasty Tuesday Szechuan Shrimp!

Once again, we have Diva Donna to thank for a terrific recipe!

So, let's play ball and serve a few shrimp!

Szechuan Shrimp (serves4)


  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 ounces cooked shrimp, tails removed


  1. In a bowl, stir together water, ketchup, soy sauce, cornstarch, honey, crushed red pepper, and ground ginger. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in green onions and garlic; cook 30 seconds. Stir in shrimp, and toss to coat with oil. Stir in sauce. Cook and stir until sauce is bubbly and thickened.


  1. Thankfully, he doesn't look like a shrimp.

    We had shrimp tonight. I'll have to try this recipe next time.

  2. I like the spicy stuff! One of the best dishes I had in NY was a curried shrimp at the Sourcebooks dinner. Must try this one soon!

  4. See I knew it. That Guy had his Jock strap dropped around his balls and in position for OUR PICKLE PLEASURING MASTER. You need to teach us that position. You must be kneeling or lying on the floor?

  5. D-Square, First I had to bore a 24" hole through that steel wall about a foot off the floor. Not trivial, but it takes more than that to keep me away from a handsome weasel that needs pleasing. I then installed a ring of ball-bearings around the hole. Next I shoved his "taint" down on that basketball for a little extra stimulation. I then put my torso through the hole, face up with my head tilted back, and swallowed his big pickle whole. Then I spun my hips around in a circle on the ball-bearings so that my mouth was doing 360 after 360 around his cock. (My chin banged his balls every time I rotated around, but he actually seemed to like it!) Like the shrimp recipe, I sucked and stirred "until his sauce was bubbly and thickened".

    And the headphones? I played him a tape of me saying, "Oooo Baby! You are so big and thick! Can I take it all? Mmmmmmmmm!" over and over...
