Tasty Tuesday Fruity Pizza!

Thank goodness Donna is cooking and writing down recipes and sending them to me, along with the great pics, or I wouldn't have anything to post on a Tuesday! Lately, I've just been fixing the old reliables or throwing whatever I happen to have on hand into the crockpot and hoping for the best!

Donna says this is a good one to take to parties and pitch-ins and I agree!

Island Fruity Pizza

WHAT YOU NEED:
1 ready-to-use refrigerated pie crust (1/2 of 15-oz. pkg.)
1 tsp. cinnamon sugar (3/4 tsp. sugar and 1/4 tsp. cinnamon)
1-1/4 cups half-and-half
1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
1 cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
1 large fresh peach, sliced
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup raspberries
1/2 cup pineapple chunks
Sprinkle with toasted coconut if you wish.

PREHEAT oven to 450ºF. Unroll pie crust onto baking sheet; sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake 8 to 10 min. or until lightly browned; cool completely.
MEANWHILE, pour half-and-half into medium bowl. Add dry pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. or until well blended. Gently stir in whipped topping; cover. Refrigerate until ready to use.
SPREAD pudding mixture over crust just before serving; top with fruit. Cut into slices. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
ENJOY!!!

  1. That fruity pizza sounds delicious. I've been wanting to try something new with fruit and yum yum.

The hunk in the first picture makes me want to dive in and join him.

    And Benji...Oh sweet Benji...

Well we all know how I feel about him don't we?

That would be amazing if he got the cover. I'm excited about Renegade period though! :D

  3. Good morning, ladies!
I haven't heard anything back since I sent that picture, but these things take time....and lots of it!

Today I'm going to try to finish that red shirt and my Earth Mother outfit. I skipped my riding lesson to give me more time, then I've got to buckle down and write enough on Renegade to finish that synopsis so I can send it off, too.

    Have a great day!

  4. See, our Sunday's Guy is washing off the sand. And this Fruit Pizza is almost as good as Benji. And I have this Pants on the Ground of Benji in my collection too. It makes me snicker. He's just too dang Cute. And I hope they jump on getting him on your cover. I hope you get that outfit finished without further problems.

  5. Oh, that fruit pizza sounds delish! I have not made this version, but have made a similar one that uses the pre-mixed sugar cookie dough and the filling part is cream cheese mixed with A LOT of confectioner's sugar. And yes, this is a great addition to any pot luck! Kids love it!

It's nice to see our sun God upright and splashin in the waves! As for Benji-I hope the powers that be at Sourcebooks see fit to use his image on Renegade. It would be very cool to actually know who the model is.

Have a great day ladies! It's raining here-not fun!"

  7. Hunks in or near the ocean always works for me.

If Benji were to get the cover, I'd like to see what his hair looks like longer. I do like clean shaven men and don't really understand the stubble thing. I mean it can look sexy at times but if push gets to shove, that stubble would rip me a new face or thighs. Maybe other women's skin isn't as sensitive as mine...don't know.

The fruity pizza sounds delightful. I have a question...are all the yah-yah's here cooking for more than one on a regular basis? *grin*

  8. Good afternoon, ladies! I have finished both the Earth Mother outfit and the red shirt to wear to the Elora's Cave party. WHEW!!!! I'm tired and hungry and want some fruit pizza and a swim in the ocean with this or any other hunk!

I'm with you on the stubble thing, Nancy. Painful!!! My DH has a full beard, which is less abrasive, but his mustache goes up my nose when he kisses me. This is why Zetithians don't have beards!!!!

  9. Woohoo Earth Mother outfit is a done deal.
And Oh Yes, I'm just in from working outside. And could use a dip in the ocean with the boys. And Fruit Pizza. But I'll have to settle for plan fruit today. But I did bake some Chocolate chip cookies. They're roofing the 4 plex on the next lot. It's 72 degrees. And there's one younger cute roofer. I was outside putting meal worms in my birdfeeder. And I thought for that nice view he deserves some cookies. He was very happy to get them too.
Oh Nancy, I make bigger portions. I freeze it. Because RG works night shifts sometimes. I eat alone. And desserts like this, normally for special guests or parties.

  10. Cat Master...Good on you for finishing your new clothes. Where are our preview pictures?

Diva Donna...Chocolate chip cookies (w/nuts) are my all time favorites...that lucky roofer!

At least it wasn't raining today but it was only 54 degrees and very windy. I went for my walk anyway.

Suzy, it would blow my brain out to cook for 5-10 people more than say, once a year;) Most of the time I cook for one which would be even more of a challenge if I didn't utilize the freezer frequently. As a general rule, I keep things VERY simple and rarely fix for more than one or two meals at a time. Any of us cooking for one will understand that the same meal can only be eaten for so many days.... This doesn't apply to chocolate chip cookies:)

  11. I used to get home from a FULL days work to see *well, we used to call it this* BUTT CRACK CITY staring into my refrigerator!!! The entire Defensive line of the local Highschool's team were scoping out my leftovers---and my late hubs was cheering them on---he thought it was heaven on earth when I cooked something 'new'. To this day I do not understand my own son's feelings about what I cook, as I'm always letting him know if there's something in the mix that he doesn't like--but he's majorly dubious about my cooking---especially since all his schoolmates and his sisters and their friends found my cuisine to their galloping teenaged tastes---but I digress, as usual--

  12. I'd have made cookies for the roofers, too, Donna.

I have one son, Mike(the one in college) who dreams about my cooking, and the other, Sam, who fixes his own food, which mainly consists of peanut butter, chicken nuggets, chicken patties on a bun, and cereal, with the occasional grilled cheese--which he also makes himself.

I always liked when Mike's friends would come over. They love my hamburgers and potato casserole and I loved cooking for them.

I'll post preview pics of the RT clothes tomorrow, Nancy.
