One of my hubs favorite dishes is meatloaf. So I'm always trying or looking for new ways to prepare it. So Here's another one I found that he really liked. And need to share it.
CHEESEBURGER MEATLOAF
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 3/4 cup fresh bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup minced onion
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese or any of your favorites.
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine the beef, bread crumbs, onion, eggs, salt and pepper, and mix well. Pat out meat mixture into a 14x18 inch rectangle on a piece of wax paper. Spread cheese over the meat, leaving a 3/4 inch border around the edges. Roll up jelly roll fashion to enclose the filling and form a pinwheel loaf. Press beef in on both ends to enclose the cheese. Place in a 10x15 inch baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven 1 hour, or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
Can everyone believe I've never had meatloaf before? Never cooked it or tried it. Recipe sounds delicious though.
ReplyDeleteAnd the hunk. We get a two for one deal woo!
He looks great from any angle. Good choice, Cheryl.
ReplyDeleteAna, say it isn't so...you've never had meatloaf! Arg, woman what you are missing! In case you are interested, it's better as leftovers! Give it a try and let us know what you think!
ReplyDeleteYeah, the hunk is great. Better than meatloaf even! lol
Good morning, Yah-Yahs!
ReplyDeleteYou can thank Donna for the hunk AND the recipe. They're both winners!
Oh, yeah. A meatloaf sandwich with ketchup? Yum-oh!!!
Now that's a non-fuzzy body! Love his eyes and muscles! Just my kind of man...yummy!
ReplyDeleteI hope your news went well yesterday about Virgin, Cheryl and you found yourself not having to vent anymore! :D
Well, Noelle, let's just say I got what I wanted and things are going a bit smoother now. But thanks for the venting offer!
ReplyDeleteANA, Try it you might like it. And a suggestion. Let the Meatloaf cool on the stovetop while you sip some wine and taste a little of the appetizer hunk. That might be hard, those eyes, that package. Just a little taste now, don't spoil your appetite. LOL
ReplyDeleteLOL! That reminds me of a picture I should post sometime....
ReplyDeleteYes indeedy...an awesome Tasty Tuesday. Today's hunk is equally spectacular on both sides:) I like Diva Donna's suggestion of hunk appetizer and then what sounds like a truly tasty meatloaf. I also think the meat load would make a fine dessert as well:)
