Tasty Tuesday Magic Cookie Bars

In the mood for something sweet?

If you don't have a chocolate hunk, you might try some of Donna's Magic Cookie Bars!

MAGIC Cookie Bars (No Bowls) 24 Bars

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 14 fluid ounces sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk)
  • 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (325 degrees F for glass dish). In 13 x 9-inch baking pan, melt butter in oven. Sprinkle crumbs over butter; pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumbs. Top with remaining ingredients; press down firmly with fork. Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Chill if desired. Cut into bars. Store covered at room temperature.

  1. That's the only thing you could think of to cover in chocolate?
Do you need a diagram - or a map LOL.

Seen this one. He has awesome eyes.
I'll have to imagine the rest. I'm sure he has a magic bar too.

  2. Sorry, Mary. Couldn't find any chocolate covered yummydoodles!

  3. Truly intense eyes!!! I'll make Magic Cookie Bars every day to keep him covered in chocolate :) They're one of my favorites. BTW--wrong picture to go with the recipe. No blueberries. Although, those look tasty too!

  4. This Tasty Tuesday and it's magical. So anything we wish for today can come true. So wish a way.

  5. Magic sounds good. So do sweet dreams and a chocolate hunk. Think I'll take a nap...

  6. Sigh. Yeah, dude has really great eyes but is missing his magic wand:(

On the other hand, the Magic Cookie Bar recipe has me drooling and I have almost all the ingredients:)

  7. LOVE his eyes! I'm an eye kinda gal.
Believe it or not...that's usually the first thing I look at when I see these pics. I swear! (Unless of course, they're faceless!) *snicker*

The recipe sounds yummy too, Donna! Thanks!
