Since I skipped Tasty Tuesday in honor of Nancy's birthday, I figured I'd post the recipe today. This is another delicious treat courtesy of our own Diva Donna!
This recipe is homemade recipe. Whenever I make these for someone. They fall in love with it and want more. It fills your house with a great aroma. It's the best way to have cheap pork chops go so tender they fall off the the bone. I hope your men Enjoy these as much as mine. And the Hunk has nice Chops too!!
Tasty Family Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 8 bone-in pork chops
  • seasoned salt to taste
  • 3 onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Season the pork chops with seasoned salt(I like Greek Season Salt) and place in a glass baking dish. Arrange onion slices on top of pork chops, then pour the water into the pan. Cover with aluminum foil.
  3. Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven, then reduce the oven temperature to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Continue to cook for another 30 minutes.

  1. Yay contests and winning stuff! That recipe looks absolutely delicious. I'm going to bed and now I'm hungry lol.

I like the way the hunk is set up in the picture. There's fire behind him and he's hot. LOL yeah that was a bit corny huh?

  2. Those boots were made for something. Just not sure what.

Ana, you are never corny. Only funny & charming.

  3. Okay...this guy's a little creepy...I'm getting a definite satanic vibe here. Anyone else kinda creeped out or is it just my little puritan reaction? I'm trying so hard to overcome that, too! Thanks to CBED and the YahYahs, it's working...mostly...

    Happy Chinese New Year, kids!

  4. LOL! Donna sent that one along with the recipe. I think she gives me pics like that just to stir you Yah-Yahs up now and then.

If the satanic quality of this hunk disturbs you, Nan, be sure to check out this coming Sunday's hunk. He's clean as a whistle and pure as the driven snow...

  5. The recipe looks good, but are you sure it's 400 for l hour? That's pretty hot.

  6. We'll have to ask Donna about that, Judy. I haven't made this recipe yet.

  7. He does have a BAD BOY look. I've heard he's hell on wheels and HOT as a Poker in the bedroom. A real Devils delight. All Horny and Red Tailed. You've heard the Term "Devils Balls" Well here's your chance to find out where that term came from. And we need the Heat.
These Pork chops do get baked at 400 degrees for a hour covered in foil. And then you turn the heat down to 300 degrees.
And believe me, this is a great way to make Pork Chops. And heat up the house. My HUBS loves these.

  8. Hmmmmm, I'm not getting the devil vibe from this guy at all. I have no clue what the photographer was going for, though. Seems a bit of an odd shot really. I LOVE the boots, but again I don't get it with the skimpy undies. The models body is just perfect, though. I'd definitely lick him up once side and down the other!

Hey Donna, do you use pork chops cut on the thicker side because of the long and hot cooking time. We love pork chops, and all those caramelized onions, YUMMY!

  9. Valentine's Month! I like it!

    Mmmmm, Pork Chops...

The Hunk seems a bit Goth, eh?

  10. I have to agree with Alicia, not necessarily creepy, but definitely gothic! He seems a little harsh in the face and believe it or not, that's the first thing I look at. His body's nice though and I like the touch of fire in the background.
He doesn't really do a whole lot more me...and I'm not sure if I'd want to get down and dirty with him on that grimy, wet pavement. Looks a bit chilly to me!

The pork chops sound yummy! Another great recipe, Donna! Thanks!

  11. more me???? Not sure what I was thinking there...I meant for me!

  12. Donna - Looks like there is something green on the pork chops in addition to the onions. Is that another ingredient? Thanks!

  13. Yes, ladies, I know he's a bit satanic and Goth-looking, but just think how much fun you could have getting rid of the boots and reforming him. Take him into your cave and tie him up until he promises to be a good boy...

  14. hmmm...What a great idea, Cheryl!

*Whip Cracks* Down, Boy...*whip cracks*...now be a good little boy and spread those legs...*crack* wider...*crack* real wide... That's right...come to Mama....

  15. Would you believe he's posing for a Underwear AD. Can you catch a name on the Briefs?
Actually Lisa, It was the normal Cheaper Package of Chops. Not overly thick.
I just use Greek Season Salt and onions.

  16. I do loves pork chops...mostly fried;) but baked is good too so thank you Donna for what sounds like another mouth watering recipe from your treasure trove.

I've got a mixed bag going on about our Tasty Thursday morsel. On the one hand I do love dark haired men and I like his face and certainly there's nothing wrong with his body but on the other hand...the boots put me off and he wears more jewelery than I do!

Then there's the whole thing of him sprawled out on a wet and dirty parking lot. Doesn't really make me want to jump his bones.

It's good that the YAH-YAH's cover a wide taste range:D

    My sweet Ana...stop apologizing for your opinion. You are as entitled as the next person. Just keep in mind that when you become a published author you will also have to grow a pair...to put it bluntly. This is a wonderful and friendly forum to help you flex those muscles. Own it, girl and I do say that with affection.{{Hugs}}
