TGIF!

I'm still trying to figure out what to do for fun on Fridays. About the best I can do right now is to recommend a British TV series called "Sherlock." Budley and I watched it on Netflix, but I'm guessing that isn't the only place you can find it. There are only six episodes so far (3 more are supposed to air this fall) but it's one of the best acted and best written shows I've seen in a long, long time. It's an updated version of the classic Sherlock Holmes stories, and the episodes are about an hour and a half in length. The show stars Benedict Cumberbach (Khan in the latest Star Trek movie) and Martin Freeman (he played Bilbo in "The Hobbit") who is fast becoming one of my favorite actors. Here's the link to it on the IMDb. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1475582/

I'm also thinking of contacting some photographers to see if I can get a few hunk pics to "use with permission" here on the blog. I know you all miss the guys as much as I do, and I doubt I would post them as often--especially if I have to pay for them--but a juicy whopper now and then is good for the soul. That being said, if anyone has any inkling of how to go about doing this, please let me know.

Otherwise, the only hunk you'll be seeing here is Willy. *;) winking

Since I have no "hunks of the day" to post, I probably won't post on weekends anymore. At least, not routinely.

  1. TGIF I'm off to the doctor for my routine checkup. I'm not looking forward to the weighing in part. I haven't been behaving myself. In any shape or form. Is that a surprise? I hope we can find a way for you to post some eye candy without terrible cost. It does get the old juices going.

  2. I took Sam to the doc yesterday. His weight was up 13 pounds! Yikes! Too much mac and cheese. I'm actually down a bit, or at least holding steady, probably for the first time in my life. Perhaps 220 is my idea weight. ;)

I had to go looking for Willy. He's usually on my desk, but I forgot I'd left him in my purse after the Lori Foster event. Must put him back in before I head off to Atlanta!

  3. Always good to see Willy whacking his whopper :D You COULD put some music with it Cheryl...that would be fun.

Cheryl...There are facebook sites that encourage sharing of posted hot men photos - usually the photographers name is on the photo. The next time I run across one that specifically says it can be shared, I'll pass it on. Meanwhile, to ease any withdrawal check it out:

I have to tell you the photos are not as wonderful as those on CBEB ~ sigh ~ but will do in a pinch;)

  5. Cheryl...Here's another site that's and clearly the man states he doesn't necessarily have permission to use the photos (a gazillion of them).

The easiest way to see the who and what of each photo is rather than scrolling down the facebook page, click on "photos" and then use the side arrow about in the middle of the photo to scroll through and see each one. "Fashionably Male" then explains the who and what of each photo. There are some very unique model shots...not that I spent an hour or so looking at them or anything;)

  7. LOL! Looks like our Queen has found a new pastime! Yes, please! If you run across a site that encourages sharing or at least says it's okay, pass it along. We're dying here!

  8. That book is very useful, Mellanie. It's the perfect thickness for holding up the left side of my computer!
